With the Nextel family plan Night & Weekend Minutes apply to all calls made or received between Monday & Friday 9:00pm - 6:59am. Weekends begin Friday at 9:00pm and end Monday at 6:59am. These times are defined based on the customer's geographic location, not the customer's cellular area. Long distance charges may apply. Calls made to international locations or calls made while roaming internationally are not included.

Normally, long distance charges apply to cell family plan calls you make to or receive from people outside your calling area. With Nextel Nationwide Long Distance and your family plan, your calling area goes from coast to coast and then some. With the Nextel family plan you do not pay long-distance charges for cellular calls in these areas:
United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
